Canada’s Prime Minister threatens millions of women.
As a feminist my entire adult life, I’ve always been clear about one thing: my body is my own. It does not belong to the church. Or to politicians.
Yet Canada’s Prime Minister, who fancies himself a feminist, intends to punish me and millions of others for a decision we’ve made about our own bodies – for our rejection of currently-available, fast-tracked COVID-19 vaccines.
Justin Trudeau has called an unnecessary, snap federal election for September 20th. Rather than avoiding crowds, hundreds of political candidates are now on the campaign trail.
18 months into a pandemic of sustained anxiety and economic devastation, Mr I’m-a-Feminist isn’t promoting healing, unity, or mutual support. Instead, he’s selling segregation. Apartheid. Division.
This man is threatening people (women and men) who have said ‘no thanks’ to these particular vaccines.
In the above video Trudeau says: “If you don’t want to get vaccinated, that’s your choice. But don’t think you can get on a plane or a train beside vaccinated people and put them at risk!”
Every woman who believes her body is her own now knows otherwise. Mr I’m-a-Feminist is about to turn her into a second class citizen.
