Kirsty Duncan no longer describes herself as a “Nobel Peace Prize laureate” on her Facebook page. But she’s still being falsely advertised in that manner on the Celebrity Speakers website.
Eight days ago I wrote about Kirsty Duncan, a Member of Parliament here in Canada, whose Facebook page falsely claimed she was a “Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.”
I’m pleased to report that this claim has now been withdrawn. Here’s a close-up view of her Facebook page as it looked last week:

This is the good news. The bad news is that Duncan’s profile at two different speakers’ bureaus continue to describe her as a “Nobel prize-winning” Canadian. Organizations who are considering hiring this Member of Parliament to address a special event are still being misled.
